DOJA CAT

Jean Paul Gaultier’s new pop adventure

With her sexy, avant-garde world, Doja Cat is an obvious choice of muse for the House. A creative passion began through the intermediary of her stylist Brett Alan Nelson. And when the world of Doja Cat came into the orbit of Jean Paul Gaultier, things started to heat up very quickly! For her costume, for the 63rd ceremony of the Grammy Awards in Los Angeles, Doja Cat knew exactly what she wanted: a declaration of femininity. And it was in the Fall-Winter 2009 Haute Couture collection that the JPG creative studio found inspiration in the form of an ultra-feminine quilted corset, one that screams Jean Paul Gaultier.

The House also dressed Doja Cat for the visuals of her latest album, Planet Her, continuing to bring her sexy futurist world to life. As has been the case for the House’s other historical collaborations, this is just the beginning of the wonderful story of Doja Cat and Jean Paul Gaultier.
