HALF A CENTURY,
WHAT A CAREER!

2020 was a special year for Jean Paul Gaultier: he would celebrate the 50th anniversary of his career, and furthermore he would choose that date to say “au revoir” to fashion. The Haute Couture Spring-Summer 2020 show would be his last, before he passed the artistic direction of the House to new hands, as surprising and bold as his own. But most of all, it would be an opportunity for Jean Paul to do what he does best: celebrate! At the legendary Théâtre du Châtelet in the very heart of Paris, preparations were underway for an immense moment of joy for the fashion world.
